With Uchenna Nwosu nearing 30 and in the final year of his deal, DeMarcus Lawrence in the twilight of his career, and questions still lingering about the long-term makeup of the room, the Seahawks may need more than just one answer. The idea? Pair a sturdier base end who can set the edge and defend the run with a twitchier, more explosive designated pass rusher who can give Mike Macdonald the “quick wins” he’s talked about wanting. I walk through 4 possible draft combinations that could make sense within Seattle’s current draft framework and explain why a two-pronged investment at EDGE could be one of the smartest things they do in this class.
